Week 81

1lb loss...

...just.

The scales flickered up to 13st 4lbs, but settled on 13-3 more times than not.

This puts me back down to the lowest point I've been since I started out on this journey, equal to where I was just before I went to France 10 weeks ago. For a while I was beginning to doubt I'd ever get back here.

Starting Weight: 19st 9lb – 275lbs
Current Weight: 13st 3lb – 185lbs
KoTRB Weight Lost : 25lb
Total Weight Loss: 90lbs

Thank you FMC and TC.

It's taken 21 weeks to lose the last 10lbs. I do begin to wonder just how long it will take to lose the next 10.

Took me longer to lose the last 10 than the first 25. Given that you are keeping to healthy eating habits, I think the slower weight loss is perhaps even a good sign --> you're getting to a healthy natural weight.

Sir Chubalot - as I still have anywhere between 25 and 40 pounds to get down to what is usually considered an "ideal" weight, I was hoping that I'm not levelling off just yet.

Freakazojd - Thank you, and welcome to Losing a Hundredweight

Congratulations, Kim!!!! I know how tough this is. I am making slow progress, but it should step up a bit next week. I start walking my son to school Monday. One mile down hill, one mile up. Then I'll be riding my bike to work. Phew. (well, except for Monday. Doc wants me to come in for a diabetes test - yikes!)

Sayre - there are 2 aspects to weight control - one is healthy eating, the other is exercise and activity. Anything you can do to up your activity is going to help.
