Sounds a bit squirrelly to me ;). Don't give up.

Hang in there, mix it up a bit. Do something you havent done in a long time for exercise or diet. Shock your system, it may be getting "to used" to what you are doing... Now, maybe I can follow my own advice... :-)

You've lost it before man, so you know what to do :)

Bollocks. Yes.

My mother asked me to teach her to swear (like I'm any good at it). Bollocks might be a good one to start her off with...

Don't worry guys, I have no intention of giving up. If I had, I would be considerably heavier by now. This is just venting a bit of frustration.

And Sayre, "Bollocks" is such a great word to use - it's not really that offensive. It literally means balls, or testicles, but is used in a way to mean "damn" or "nonsense" (he's talking bollocks). And an added level of fun is that most Americans have no idea what you're talking about as it's not a widely used slang term in the US

Ah, but you see, my father is FROM England - he would know exactly what she was saying. Which I think is actually the point. She wants to shock my father so he'll let up on his own swearing.

In which case, tell her to call him a wanker. If they're not already separated, they will be after that...

Nuts are full of calories. Leave off them :-)

BUT look at your total loss - 89lbs, that's the weight of a 10yr old child or Posh Spice.

Alex - I appreciate you looking on the positive side, but 8 months ago I was 14 lbs lighter than I am now. It's time to turn the direction back round again
