Week 169

0.6lb gain

Now I'm not entirely sure why I've put on over half a pound when I've had another near faultless week. I can only assume it's a blip of some kind, so I'm not going to worry myself over it.

More important is that I'm continuing to make the healthy choices, and there's no doubt it gets easier to resist the cravings the longer I go without giving into them.

Starting Weight: 19st 9lb - 275lbs
Current Weight: 13st 1lb - 183lbs
Body fat: 25.9%
Total Weight Loss: 92lbs

That really does work, you know. I no longer crave sugar. The sweet tea I used to live on is history - and I don't even miss it.

Your blip will even out - you didn't really expect that big a loss last week, so perhaps this is the balancing factor.

Still down a pound a week over the last three - Thats pretty good for a skinny guy like you...

Keep it up.

A powerful affirmation of the route to long term success. It really is as simple and complex as "continuing to make healthful choices." I'm going to copy that one from you.

Sayre - that's great news about the sugar cravings - what a difference that makes

Bradley - I forget that for most of the people I'm linked to, I'm now the thinest - it wasn't always that way

Arlene - it has to be - what we all want is to be healthy. There's no point in being thin if your long term health is shot to pieces because of the methods used to get there

Hi Kim. I am a brand new blogger with approx 150 - 170 lbs to lose.

I currently weigh 320 lbs (to be confirmed at official weigh in on Monday 19 May) and am just at the START of my journey.

Very pleased to find so many male weight loss bloggers, as well as female bloggers.

Congrats on losing your hundredweight, now I've got to start work on losing mine!

Best wishes
Sharon
