Week 180

0.2lb loss!

I'm delighted with that.

What it means is a near faultless week has offset the excesses of Maggie's birthday last week, and that I was able to avoid the spiral out of control which so often accompanies a blow out.

So, a definite *SMUG* moment is called for this week.


Starting Weight: 19st 9lb - 275lbs
Current Weight: 12st 13.4lb - 181.4
Body fat: 25.5%
Total Weight Loss: 93.6lbs

Week 179

Same as last week

No loss, but no gain. Given the major, over-the-top indulgences yesterday because of my wife's birthday I can only conclude it hasn't had a chance to metabolise yet and will show up next week instead.

However, this gives me a bit of hope that if I can stay on track this week (minus the leftover birthday cake I know we'll have tonight) perhaps I can offset the damage and show no gain next week.

Alternatively it might send me into a craving spiral which will take a week to pull out of.

Still, better to think postive...

Week 178

0.6lb gain

I think most of that is accountable from a week ago. That weekend of my son's baking, plus a few days of leftovers hadn't had the chance to make itself felt by the last weigh in.

However, since about Thursday I've been almost completely on track, so unless things go wrong this week , it should show in the next weigh-in

Week 177

0.6lb gain

I'll live with that.

Given my son's excessive baking of exceedingly tasty, addictive foodstuffs (see main blog) this past week, I've been remarkably restrained.

It could have been so much worse
