Week 193

3lb gain!

Over the past 7 days we've spent 3 days in a hotel with bed, breakfast and evening meal; 2 days travelling where food always goes awry; had my birthday party with a fantastic spread of food by Maggie; and eaten most of the leftovers of that fantastic spread of food by Maggie.

I'm now over a stone heavier than my lightest point in July last year.

If I don't turn this round now I am going to have to give up wearing 34" jeans, which are definitely too tight on me, and return to the 36's just to be able to breathe properly.

Fortunately we don't do Thanksgiving in Scotland so I think we have a more or less clear run until Feastmas.

Starting Weight: 19st 9lb - 275lbs
Current Weight: 13st 5.8lb - 187.8lbs
Body fat: 26.5%
Total Weight Loss: 87.2lbs

I do have a couple of pairs of 36s, but am steadfastly refusing to put them on, even though the 34s are beginning to stop the blood circulating to my lower half...

It's always WAY too easy to gain weight when out of home environs. You have to exercise great restraint to control food and exercise the way you do at home - which sort of goes against the grain if you're on VACATION. Being home will go a long way towards those pounds coming off.

Ouch! Hey, I just bought two pairs of size 36 pants. They are a bit snug, but I am thrilled that I can wear them. I am sure you'll get things moving in the other direction and be in the 34's before I will.

Don't get caught by the dreaded "CREAP". You know what I mean, all of us who FIGHT THE FAT experience it from time to time. JUST SAY NO TO 36 pants...

Sayre - not having my birthday for another year will also help :)

Half Man - but then you're about 6 inches (or more) taller than me, so I think 36s are a great place to be

Bradley - unfortunately, "Just Say No" never, ever worked as a convincing campaign. However, I keep posting as it keeps me on track :)

Don't do it darling!I'm in much the same boat as you this week- but I won't lie yesterday did away with 3 of the extra 5 I managed to attach to my Frame in the end. Forgo the 36, and turn it around, I know you can do it, we can do anything if we set our minds to it. *

Happy late birthday!

I'm hanging out just above goal and can't seem to get there no matter what.

FMC - I still have the 34s on. Fortunately I think the material is beginning to stretch...

Size8 - if you're healthy, then I wouldn't worry about losing that extra inch

Funny how these modern washing machines keep shrinking clothes. Someone should do something about it...
