Week 250

1lb gain

Only to be expected really. Maggie and I had 2 nights away on our own. Without kids. 2 nights. Consecutively. First time we've had that in about 12 years. So it was a bit difficult not to have meals out and a slice of something tasty with a coffee in a cafe...

Starting Weight: 19st 9lb - 275lbs
Current Weight: 13st 11lb - 193lbs
Body fat: 26.9%
Total Weight Loss: 82lbs

I am going to Spain in Gingerday, I expect FULLY to do much the same. Paella, here I come.

My hubby is about fifty pounds overweight and he talks about it and goes through times when he won't eat breakfast and then in the afternoon is starving. Is your blog something ongoing that I could send a link to him to encourage him to see how someone is able to achieve results?

Technobabe - you're more than welcome to point anyone in this direction, and I'll happily answer any questions anyone has.

Most of my posts are just my weekly stats, but over on the sidebar I have links to all the posts that have looked at things in more depth - why we overeat, the problems of dieting, the difference between habit and addiction etc.

By the way, skipping breakfast is about the worst thing you can do. It sets the body off into starvation mode and you crave food even more.
