Week 259

0.8lb gain?

Sigh

Don't really know what's caused this. I know I did have a couple of little extras this week - a scone on Wednesday, and a cup of hot chocolate on Friday, but these shouldn't have been enough to cause a weight gain.

It's not so bad when I can see what I've done wrong, but this is disappointing

Starting Weight: 19st 9lb - 275lbs
Current Weight: 13st 6.2lb - 188.2lbs
Body fat: 26.4%
Total Weight Loss: 86.8lbs

Increases on the scale are always frustrating.... even if it's only a small one.

To gain .8 lbs you would of had to:

1. Consume an extra 2800 Calories (3500 Calories in 1 pound) above and beyond your normal weekly consumption.... or
2. Burn 2800 less calories than your normal weekly amount.... or
3. A combination of #1&2.

I bet that your weight happened to fluctuate a bit higher than normal on the day you weighed yourself.

You've probably already lost it by the time you read this... lol.

Have a great week!!!!!

Using the x number of calories = y number of pounds, I once calculated that if I cut out eating one bag of crisps (or chips to you lot from the North American continent) per day, within a decade I would weigh less than air... :)

I'm sure you've heard this before but it's always daunting to see the numbers going up. Your goal is to see it go down and I know personally that the sight doesn't lead to a good feeling.

BryGuy had some good words to say. I believe in it.
