Certainly there were periods over the years of my weight gain that I seemed to eat vast quantities of food yet remained at a relatively stable weight, but then I would go through other "growth" phases too.

If you could get it down to a fine art then you could make a fortune selling a diet plan that required you to over-eat, but I wouldn't want to rely on a high success rate :)Kim Ayreshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02656677501116622953noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16063987.post-1159980843123028162006-10-04T17:54:00.000+01:002006-10-04T17:54:00.000+01:00I have a theory! And when you eat little, it thinks it's famine time, so retains fat, because it's not sure when more is coming. So when you eat what you think is "too much," the body says, "Okay, it's feast time, I can burn this off, because I know more is on the way."

I'm not a doctor, and don't even play one on television. So feel free to tell me I'm mad, but either way, congratulations!Andrastehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17995089221441792487noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-16063987.post-1159905372662100702006-10-03T20:56:00.000+01:002006-10-03T20:56:00.000+01:00Please please please send the fat fairies my way.O...Please please please send the fat fairies my way.

On another subject, thank you for your caring comments. Just accept...Sometimes you just don't question it. Just accept it! Women do it all the time - our bodies are so weird at times... retaining water, losing water, feeling fat, feeling thin (even if you're still fat).

Our OLTA competition is over and we're still awaiting the final check-ins. I know I didn't win, but I have made some serious lifestyle changes that WILL show up on the scale sooner or later. I just have to keep at it and be patient.

Good advice, you know?Sayrehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16350593991157139017noreply@blogger.com
