1lb loss!
Well that's a surprise!
Although I've been on track much of the week, there have been enough extras to prevent weight loss. So how come I've lost weight?
My only guess is that as I've had a pretty lousy few weeks, my metabolism has actually started to speed up a bit to compensate, which might also account for the lesser weight gain than expected last week.
I have noticed this effect before, but within a couple of weeks of being on track it starts to slow again, so cannot be used as a weight-loss tactic - the nett result is always a gain, just not quite as much gain as expected.
Starting Weight: 19st 9lb - 275lbs
Current Weight: 13st 1.6lb - 183.6lbs
Body fat: 25.8%

I've noticed that effect as well.
Still, a loss is a loss. ;)
Ah, I'm glad I'm not the only one to see this effect. I was never entirely sure if I was imagining it
Weight loss seems so simple Energy In - Energy out = Weight change. While it is that easy, it is never that easy. Figuring out the energy in is possible to a degree, but figuring the energy out seems almost impossible. On top of that, how do you account for water weight fluctuations, the weight of the stuff hanging out in the intestines and colons? It's too bad we can't just stick our fingers in the usb port and get a computer read out.
BTW, congrats on the loss.
Congrats on the loss mate!
As Andrew said, a loss is a loss :D
Half-man - surely it's just a matter of time beofre someone devises a piece of software so you stick on electrodes and the other end feeds the USB port!
FLG - oh, I'm not complaining, just trying to understand :)
Love Half-Man's Futureshock idea! That would make things SO much easier!
Congrats on the pound! I wish some of mine would go wherever yours went!
Sayre - send it on it's way and remind it to send you a postcard...
