1.2lb loss!
That's good. Of course it's good. But I'm finding real difficulty in getting enthusiastic.
My weight has varied between 13st 5lbs (187) and 13st 8.8lbs (190.8) since the New Year.
All the trials, all the strains, all the fights, all the chewing my arm off instead of giving in to cravings, all the good weeks followed by an uncontrolable blow out, and I'm staying more or less in the same place.
All these epic personal battles, just to maintain.
Morale is low today.
Starting Weight: 19st 9lb - 275lbs
Current Weight: 13st 5.6lb - 187.6lbs
Body fat: 26.5%
Total Weight Loss: 88.4lbs
Still here.. really I am - 4 years an 9 month later

Kim, I'm right with you at the moment. My losses are really low at the moment despite sticking to it 100%. I'm due to weigh in tomorrow and my scales this morning say 1lb on. I know I shouldn't hop on my own scales.. but I always do. There is no way I should have put 1lb on... I have been better than good this week. Even took ryvitas and cottage cheese for lunch to the race track this weekend.
Can't really do anyting to boost your morale.. when it's low it's low.. but all I can say is hang in there.. if you did eat everything including your arm, just think how bad you'd feel with a big gain!
Annie
But if I had an arm less, overall it would reduce my BMI...
Limb reduction for weight loss will only work so many times before you run out of limbs. The struggle never ends, but the alternative is much worse.
Hang in there!
I would schedule periodic *controlled* indulgences where I'd let myself enjoy a favored junk food in moderation. It helped keep the cravings at bay. I would give in while I was still in control on my terms instead of letting it go until it had me giving in out of control. It really helped me a lot.
LOL on Half Man & limb reduction.
Just found your blog from FLG! Reading through it, you seem like you are on the right path..keep your head up! The good days are ahead of you!

Half Man - yeah, I know - I've only got 4 chances at it, and then I no longer have the capacity to exercise...
Antgirl - there's no such thing as "controlled indulgences" where trigger foods are concerned
Rupal - welcome to Losing A Hundredweight and thank you for taking the time to comment :)
Kim if your going to naw off a limb, pick a leg, they weigh much more. Seriously, hang in there ;)
Twice the Man - nicely calculated :)
