1lb loss!
One of the odd things this I've noticed this week has been that my belly is looking slightly smaller.
Well, ok, it is. Obviously. I've lost weight again.
But only a pound.
Surely 1lb isn't going to make a perceptable difference is it?
But maybe it is. What I tend to forget is that because I'm now only about 15lbs or so overweight, one of those pounds is a considerably higher percentage of the excess baggage than it used to be.
One pound now counts for something like 6% or 7% of my overweightness, instead of the less than 1% it used to.

Excellent! A pound is a pound is a pound.
Wow - I never really thought of that. And that, of course, is why it may be getting harder to lose. That loss represents a larger percentage. I wonder if that's why the "final 10" are ALWAYS so difficult for dieters????
Sir, you're heading for 'that' number, may the final furloung be swift and through.
I pound is great, Take what you can get, wring the motivation out of it, and push forward for that next pound. Passing 100 pounds of loss was tremendous, everything else is just icing.
Getting rid of a pound when you're at an okay weight (but would like to be at an even lower weight) is a wonderful thing. It also shows that the lifestyle changes that you made are still working to push you in the right direction.
Half Man - thank you
Sayre - personally I wonder why anybody makes so much fuss about the final 10. Get out and live your life. you can live with 10lb over much easier than 100lb over.
FMC - if I don't reach the 112 I'm not going to lose sleep over it
S William - mmmMMMMmmmm... icing...
Arlene - any weight loss from here on in is welcome, but not fretted over.
Yes, a loss is a loss. And if it's showing THAT much difference, All the more awesome! :o)
Thanks Cactusfreek :)
