Another 1.4lb gain
It was Maggie's birthday at the weekend. That in itself might not have been too damaging if it wasn't on top of a fortnight of some intense family situations that I cannot blog about. The upshot of this meant that extreme emotions have been flying about for 2 weeks, and trying not to medicate with food has been an ongoing, and not always successful, battle.
This morning, determinations have been renewed and mindsets are being wearily dragged back into position, so I hope to have stablised, and have everything back under control by the next post.

Hang in there. I am rooting for you.
Thanks Half-Man. Unfortunately the left over ice cream and birthday cake got demolished tonight after we told ourselves that once it was gone we couldn't be tempted any more by it.
Of course we couldn't have been tempted if it had been put in the bin last night, but that never seemed like an option.
It's that want not/waste not problem... you want it and justify having it as "not letting it go to waste". Unfortunately, that kind of thinking makes it go to waist.
You'll get back on track this week!
Sayre - from such a young age we are told we musn't waste food, so we would rather put food we don't need in our stomachs where it will harm us than in the bin.
Sometimes I think I am such a luck person with jusy three cats to reek havoc with my healthy eating regime. And stress and minding your food intake are a dangerous combination.
I know I have a tendency to compensate every emotion with food. And stress is uually several emotions combined. It is my number ONE attention point.
Sad? No food!
Happy? No food!
Alone? No food!
Angry? No food!
Frustrated? NO FOOD!
I could go on for a while, and I think you can add a few too!
Pandora Woman - Every emotion when it starts becoming more extreme triggers a food reaction in me - Life's great, let's eat! Life sucks, let's eat!
