Great job Kim. Forgive me for asking, I don't think I noticed it on your blog...what is your ultimate weight goal?
You are still in the fight. That counts for a lot. Glad to hear that you won most of your battles this week.
S William - I don't actually have a definitive goal weight to reach. The aim was always to be healthier, where the weight loss was a side effect.
When I set out on the journey I was 275lbs. Originally, I thought that if I dropped to around 210lbs I'd be more than happy. I was overjoyed to get down to under 190lbs, as this was a figure I remember from my early 20s. I was delighted to lose 100lbs.
So in a way, I'm already there. According to the height/weight charts I should be about 15lbs lighter, but after being 100lbs heavier, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. If I lose any more, then it's all bonus.
I now see my main aim is to not creep back up again. I'm using the 100lb loss as a marker. I have to make sure I don't stray too far above 175lbs.
Half Man - thanks :)
kim!!! finally got back on blogger!!! any chance of catching you at knockengorroch?? im sure it would be right up your ally.

Good job, Kim! Hope all is well! Those battles can take it out of you...
The hard won battles leave us breathless, shaky, but triumphant in an way that the easy won cannot.
Ben - welcome back - I've sent you an email about the festival
Sayre - some days more than others :)
FMC - there are days I'd agree with you...
*leaves a warm hug* finally I made it to your blog again. I am just too busy.
I have nothing but admiration for you. Depression is a not a trifle to fight against, but even more so you will not give up your efforts to lose weight.
An inspiration, and I am rooting for you, Kim! I hope the pecialists appointment will "shed" some light.

PS: I will have the new photograph up soon! I tried on my "old" weddingdress, it looked great, but was a might too big. Mind you that wedding is a past glory now, as in ex husband. But it was fun to know I weigh less now than I did then!
Our goals are the same then. No real goal weight here either. Hope all is well.
I'm glad you're still winning most of those battles.
Pandora - sometimes weight loss is a bit like time travel - especially when you find yourself thinking the last time you were at a particular weight was when you were 25 or 19 or something.
S William - health, rather than weight, has to be the priority of focus
Arlene - some days :)
