0.8lb loss!
This has been a good week. Very little in the way of extras. No evening snacking. I'm hoping the corner has been turned.
Starting Weight: 19st 9lb - 275lbs
Current Weight: 13st 5lb - 187lbs
Body fat: 26.7%
Total Weight Loss: 88lbs
Still here.. really I am - 4 years an 9 month later

Well done Kim! I think you're quite correct cutting out the evening snacks. I am trying to do the same myself. Damn you monkey nuts.
Evening snacks are bad on so many levels.
Primarily the problem is our metabolism is working differently in the evening than the morning and we don't have time to burn it off.
This can interfere with our sleep too
And, it's just so easy to eat in front of the TV, so we don't realise we're eating so much.
Very habit forming

Hurray! That nighttime snacking is a killer - I try to stop eating anything after 6:30pm. If I absolutely have to have something, I go for a sugar-free hot chocolate. That seems to do the trick...

Sayre - it's an apple for me if I have to have something. Or a full works very chocolatey hot cocolate with marshmallows and cream if I've lost it...
